“We have visited the youth in a door-to-door campaign and have asked them to submit their detailed bio-datas. After we collect the bio-datas and vet them, the youth will be called for interviews on a pre-determined day. Nari Adhikar will also conduct a training camp for the youth on how to present themselves at interviews and how to prepare for a job interview.”
NGO Nari Adhikar today announced that it would provide over 900 youth and unemployed persons in Shiroda with jobs and self-employment opportunities through self-help groups and an all-women co-operative society which is being set up by Adv Diya Shetkar, Founder-President of the NGO.
Speaking to media persons in Shiroda, Adv Diya Shetkar said that her NGO Nari Adhikar has tied up with several pharma and other corporates to interview youth who are unemployed. The youth are also given vocational guidance before they are selected for the jobs.
A mega employment camp will be held on Sunday 16th December 2018 at Pride Hall, Shiroda from 11 am to 5 pm, where unemployed youth can register for the job interviews.
Shetkar said her NGO gives vocational training to youth from Shiroda living in poverty and helps them land jobs in private companies.”
Nari Adhikar trains unemployed youth to do entry-level jobs in IT, retail, hospitality, construction and the agriculture sector.
The job profiles include data-entry operators, computer hardware assistants, market researchers, sales executives, stewards, housekeeping staff, electronics and white goods repair, maintenance technicians and home care nursing assistants including drivers, plumbers, etc.
Adv Diya Shetkar was speaking to media persons on the sidelines of a Health Camp organised at Shiroda which benefited nearly 200 poor people who availed of free medical check-up facilities.
