In a shocking incident, senior journalist and Arshi Khan’s publicist Flynn Remedios was assaulted in Mumbai by Priyank Sharma’s over-enthusiastic fans who behaved worse than goons and thugs.

The incident happened on Monday at around 10pm right outside the Infinity Mall at Lokhandwala. According to Flynn Remedios who spoke to a Tv news channel, “I was waiting outside Infinity Mall at Lokhandwala, Andheri for an auto rickshaw to take me to my residence near Malad. Standing next to me were four youth who were very animatedly discussing the popular reality show on Colors – Bigg Boss 11 and were discussing Priyank Sharma and Arshi Khan. When I heard the words Arshi Khan my curiosity was aroused and I stood there, pretending to hail an auto, all the while listening attentively to the four youth. They were discussing about using auto bots and fake accounts to trend a hashtag on Twitter to support Priyank. They were also discussing how fake accounts on Facebook could be used to promote positive news related to Priyank and downplay the other contestants. Being a social and digital media professional myself for the last 25 years, it was interesting to hear the conversation between these four 20-year-olds. The only disgusting fact was that they were using very abusive words against Arshi and Shilpa and at one stage one of them said ‘woh toh teen hazar mein sone wali aurat hein’ referring to Arshi Khan. This got my goat and I spontaneously lashed out at the four youth and screamed at them that they must not speak about a woman using such derogatory and vulgar words. They asked me who was Arshi Khan to me and I said ‘she is my daughter’. Without any warning, the four pounced on me and started hitting me with punches and kicks. I was slapped, punched and kicked for about a minute. Fortunately, a Police van was passing by and I yelled POLICE. The youth turned, saw the police vehicle and ran towards Adarsh Nagar,” said Flynn relating the entire sequence of events.

No complaint has been filed till now. Speaking to IndiaScribes.com, Flynn said, “I do not intend to file a police complaint as it will be a huge waste of time. I have absolutely no idea who the youth are. They were reasonably well-dressed, in fact much better than me and were carrying expensive mobile phones. They seemed to be net savvy and could be part of a social media team operating out of Adarsh Nagar, because that is the direction in which they ran away. What is every surprising is the fact, how they just pounced on me, when I said I was connected to Arshi Khan.”

Looks, like Bigg Boss is causing a lot of drama and friction and fights outside the house as well.
