Aspiring actor and comedian Kalyanji Jana’s today told IndiaScoops.com that his life is under grave threat and that the MNS and Raj Thackeray will be responsible if anything happens to him.
He also claimed that the MNS is trying to murder him. We have not been able to independently verify these allegations.
Jana’s video clip condemning MNS chief Raj Thackeray for his comments and action against North Indians had gone viral last week. The video clocked thousands on views and comments on Facebook and other social media.
Not surprisingly, the actor got several threats from local Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leaders in Mumbai, some of whom even threatened to break his bones. The Pramukh of the Malad unit of the MNS has threatened to take legal action against Jana for the video and claimed that he is doing it with a purpose.
As reported earlier, upcoming actor Kalyanji Jana who is shooting for a film “Mein Hoon Auto Walla” released a dialogue from his film on his Facebook wall, criticizing politician Raj Thackeray for his anti-north Indians stand.
In the self-shot video clip, featuring a film dialogue, Jana who plays the main protagonist of the film in the role of an auto rickshaw driver is seen and heard threatening Maharashtra Navnirman Sena boss Raj Thackeray in very vitriolic language.
Even though the clip is a dialogue from the film, several MNS sympathizers did not notice it and began to troll and abuse Jana.
Jana told IndiaScoops.com that he got several threatening calls and the Kandivali unit of the MNS has decided to file a police complaint against Jana.
Kalyanji Jana’s problems are further bound to increase as some local leaders of the BJP unit where he resides in suburban Malad are also likely to file a complaint against him for ‘vulgar speech’.
