Trajano D’Mello writes to Governor, demands team of doctors to evaluate CM’s health

Nov 3 (UNI) Trajano D’Mello, social activist and President of Lokancho Aadhar, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has demanding that state Governor Mridula Sinha appoints a team of medical experts to examine physical and mental faculties of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar

In a letter written to the Governor, copies of which were shared with media here, he has said,’ There has been disturbing news circulating in the press as well as social media that our honourable Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is suffering from pancreatic cancer as indicated by Health Minister Vishwajit Rane.

It has also been widely circulated in various press reports and the social media that Mr Parrikar is physically weak and infirm mentally not in the senses on account of pain killers and chemotherapy and other medications which have sedative effect and affect the thinking/ analyzing capabilities of the chief minister.’

‘Your excellency is kindly requested to intervene in this matter and to immediately order medical evaluation by a team of expert doctors and release of the medical report issued by them to the public at the earliest so that the public can be reassured that the decisions are being taken by the chief minister are by applying his mental faculties intelligently,’ he said.
