Sting Op shows Victim’s Husband, Two others paid Rs 20k to attack Aires Rodrigues in Goa Sex Scam case


An undercover sting operation by India Scribes Tv has found out that there is definitely more than what meets the eye in the Goa Sex Scam-Aires Rodrigues case.

India Scribes Tv which tracked down the husband of the alleged victim and his two accomplices – according to the victim woman as quoted in an article in Herald –  who were her Rakhi brother and her driver, were paid Rs 20,000/- to accost, video record, grill and attack Adv Aires Rodrigues in his office at Ribandar by a rival camp.

An India Scribes Tv reporter from Anjuna in North Goa posed as a ‘friend’ and approached one of the assailants in this case. The concerned person who has been named as an unknown accused in the complaint filed by Aires Rodrigues at the Old Goa Police station told the common friend and the under cover India Scribes Tv reporter that he has got Rs 5000/- till now and is yet to get Rs 5000/- more for the act. He said that the rival camp which plotted and planned the attack against Rodrigues has promised to help him in the FIR registered under several sections of the IPC. He said that his co-accused and himself were originally promised Rs 15,000/- each, but it was later brought down to Rs 10,000/- each. He did not mention the name of the person or persons who were to pay him, but only referred to him/them as ‘te’ or ‘toh’. It is not known if the husband of the accused victim woman was paid any money or how much was paid.

The Anjuna police had summoned Verla-Canca sarpanch and senior Goa Forward leader Milton Marques to appear before them. However, the sarpanch sought two days time to appear before police. Milton came to the police station and in view of the feast of St Francis Xavier at Old Goa sought time to appear before the cops for inquiry.

Acting on Aires Rodrigues’ complaint, the Old Goa Police booked two persons seen arguing with and attacking him  as seen in the video recorded by his assailants and released on social media, and two unknown accused under Section 452 (house trespass), 341 (wrongful restraint), 506 (criminal intimidation), 336 (endangering life and personal safety of others), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) read with 34 (common intentions).

Aires Rodrigues had filed a complaint at the Anjuna Police Station against Swapnil Dhargalkar, Shreya Dhargalkar and two unknown persons for forming an unlawful assembly, criminally trespassing into his office, assaulting him after having threatened and abused him with dire consequences besides throwing black liquid/ink at him. The complaint was transferred to the Old Goa Police after it was filed as the incident occurred within its jurisdiction.
